Spring Is Almost Here! Can Butterflies Be Far Behind?

Easter is a wonderful time of year for families. For some it is primarily a religious occasion. For others it is also a time to celebrate all the joys of springtime, including sunshine, baby animals (bunnies) and flowers, and other new life.

The spring equinox is March 20 this year. Easter is April 8. With spring on the way, can the return of the butterflies be far behind? Actually in some parts of the United States, such as Florida, Georgia, and Texas, the butterflies never left. But wherever you live, Easter is still a great time to celebrate, or anticipate, their return.

Wherever you live, even if it still cold on April 8, or if April showers find you, it is still fun to celebrate Easter and the return of spring. You can celebrate them indoors with Easter gifts and Easter baskets. And for friends and loved once who cannot be with you at Easter, you can send some of the fun to them with Easter gifts for every age from toddlers to grandparents.

It is easy to shop on line for Easter Gift Baskets on line. Gift baskets may contain not only the traditional candy eggs, bunnies and Easter toys for children. They can also have grown-up gifts, like dark chocolates, wine, and other elegant pleasures. Nowadays there are baskets to please everyone, from the tiniest tot to the most sophisticated business associates.

Happy Easter! Happy spring!

And happy butterfly-watching to you and yours in 2012!
